Domain Registration Policy

The short version: when a domain is registered for you through Plosion, you are the registrant. If you cancel Plosion, you keep the domain. Completed domain registration and renewal costs are outside the 30-day subscription money-back guarantee.

1. Scope and provider terms

This policy applies when Plosion helps register, connect, configure, renew, or transfer a domain. Domain services also depend on the rules and agreements of the applicable registrar, registry operator, and the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (“ICANN”). Those rules control where they conflict with this policy.

2. You are the domain registrant

For a new domain registered through Plosion, the customer or the customer’s designated business is listed as the registrant using the information provided to us. The registrant holds the contractual right to use the domain during its registration term. Plosion manages technical settings and registrar interactions on the registrant’s behalf; Plosion does not become the owner merely because it arranged or paid for the registration.

You must provide complete, accurate registrant contact information and update it promptly when it changes. Registrars may require verification. Inaccurate, incomplete, or unverified information can result in suspension or cancellation under registrar or ICANN rules.

3. Registration and availability

An active Plosion plan includes one standard, available .com domain unless checkout states otherwise. Registration is not complete until confirmed by the registrar. A search result or checkout screen does not reserve a domain, and another party may register it first.

Premium domains, aftermarket purchases, protected or restricted names, non-.com extensions, and names with unusual registration requirements are not included unless Plosion expressly offers them and discloses the price. You are responsible for selecting a lawful domain that does not infringe another party’s trademark or other rights.

4. Management and privacy

You authorize Plosion to act as your technical and administrative contact for tasks needed to provide domain service, including DNS configuration, verification, renewal, security locks, and transfer support. Plosion may share registration data with the registrar, registry, escrow provider, ICANN, or authorities as required to provide the service or comply with law. Available registration-data privacy or redaction services may be enabled, but disclosure can still be required.

5. Renewal and expiration

While your subscription is active and paid, Plosion will arrange the standard renewal of an included domain when it becomes due, unless you ask us not to or the domain is no longer eligible. We may ask you to confirm or update registration information. Premium renewal charges, restoration fees, registry surcharges, taxes, and other exceptional costs are not included unless stated at checkout.

After cancellation, you are responsible for transferring the domain to a registrar account you control and paying future renewal charges. Transfer should be requested well before expiration. If a domain expires, related websites and email may stop working, and renewal or recovery may involve additional fees or may no longer be possible.

6. Transfers

You may request transfer of your domain by emailing help@plosionbranding.com. We may verify your identity and authority before releasing a transfer authorization code or changing account access.

Transfers are subject to registrar, registry, and ICANN requirements. A transfer may be unavailable during the first 60 days after initial registration, during the first 60 days after a prior registrar transfer, or during an applicable change-of-registrant lock. A court order, domain dispute, fraud concern, registry restriction, expired status, or other policy-based condition may also delay or prevent transfer. Plosion will not deny a transfer for a reason prohibited by applicable ICANN policy.

7. What happens when you cancel

Cancellation stops future Plosion subscription renewals and may end website hosting, publishing, DNS management, and email forwarding at the close of the paid period. It does not take away your registrant rights. You may transfer the domain after applicable locks and verification requirements are satisfied.

We will provide reasonable transfer assistance. You are responsible for completing the transfer, maintaining accurate contact details, accepting required registrar communications, and renewing the domain after it leaves Plosion’s management.

8. Domain costs and the money-back guarantee

Completed registrations, renewals, transfers, restorations, premium-domain purchases, registry charges, and similar third-party domain costs are non-refundable except where required by law or refunded to Plosion by the provider.

Before a new registration is completed, Plosion will disclose any domain cost that is non-refundable or may be deducted from a 30-day guarantee refund. If you receive a subscription refund after a domain has been registered, you remain the registrant and may keep the domain, but the disclosed completed domain cost is not refunded. 9. Abuse, disputes, and required action

Domains are subject to applicable dispute-resolution policies, abuse rules, court orders, and legal process. We may take action required by a registrar, registry, ICANN, or competent authority, including locking, redirecting, suspending, or transferring a domain. We will provide notice when legally and operationally permitted.

10. Policy changes

We may update this policy to reflect provider requirements, ICANN policies, law, or changes to our domain service. We will post the revised policy and update its effective date. Material changes will apply prospectively with notice when required.
